*I know homophobia/biphobia would/does exist in some of these canons, but I would vastly prefer if you just took the route where homophobia/biphobia is completely a non-issue and is just as readily accepted as heterosexual relationships.

**To expand on my thoughts about bi erasure, I would prefer that if you are writing a same-sex pairing where one or both of the characters was presented with heterosexual inclinations in canon (ie, interest in the opposite sex, opposite sex love interest, etc.) that they be presented in the fic as bisexual rather than gay.

Jughead 2015

 

Kevin Keller/Principal Stanger

 

I really enjoyed Stanger’s cool, collected villainy, and him being a high school principal who wants to brainwash teenagers to do his bidding is ripe with opportunity. Since I finished with his arc, I’ve been wanting a fic with Kevin nobly fighting against him but then giving into him or being coerced into doing so.

• A fic of Stanger just creepily perving on Kevin and trying to “save” him from “troublemakers” like Jughead, Archie, and Betty and isolate him so he can manipulate him, I would love to read that, too. Maybe even Stanger can’t handle the idea of being attracted to a teenager, so he tries to convince himself the reason he likes to watch Kevin during gym class and invites him to private lunches with him is because he thinks Kevin would make the perfect soldier? I think it would be great if Kevin was aware Stanger’s attitude about him was weird but didn’t quite pick up on everything, but Colonel Keller did and instantly rushed in to shut Stanger down and bust him as a disgraced spy.

• Maybe Stanger takes it up a notch when his plans are discovered by Jughead and the gang sooner, so he has to go on the run and takes Kevin as a hostage, only to find himself strongly attracted to him? Feel free to do something with Stockholm Syndrome on Kevin’s behalf, or just have him nobly fighting Stanger the entire time.

• A fic with Principal Stanger lusting over Kevin and using some leverage to coerce him into having sex with him. Perhaps Kevin goes to appeal Jughead’s expulsion, and Stanger makes a deal that if Kevin has sex with him, he’ll let Jughead back into school, and then at the end reveals he already agreed with Jughead’s dad to lift the expulsion anyway? For extra angst bonus points, Kevin could have an unrequited crush on Jughead, and Stanger could taunt him with the knowledge that his feelings aren’t returned as he fucks Kevin. Feel free to be as vague or explicit with the sex as you like; I’m just really interested in the power dynamics at play with this situation.

Riverdale

General

I love Kevin, and I love his relationship with his dad, especially when his dad was comforting him in 2x03. I understand Sheriff Keller is a controversial character, but I really enjoy him and his interactions with Kevin, so I’d really like for his portrayal to be positive and Kevin’s opinion of him to be positive. I’d just really prefer not to see their closeness fractured or their only interactions to be marked by negativity or arguing.

I’ve tried to devise a few specific prompts for each pairing just to give you an idea about what I like about each relationship, but feel free to mix and match the prompts for whatever pairing. .You want FP fending off amorous johns from undercover-as-a-hooker!Kevin? Go for it! You want Joaquin spoiling Kevin by buying him expensive gifts? I’d love to read that, too.

Given the events of the final few episodes of the season, I would prefer a canon-divergent AU or a fic that disregards the events on 2x20.

Kevin Keller/FP Jones

• An A/B/O fic where FP is a disgraced alpha because his omega walked out on him and his children, which is the ultimate sign of an unworthy alpha. For whatever reason, omega!Kevin offers to mate with FP out of necessity (Maybe Lodge Industries has moved to Riverdale and is going to provide a vital economic boost to the area, but the town is worried the Serpents might stir up trouble, so their mating is a sign of allegiance, or something?). FP accepts because he feels that his kids, Jughead and Jellybean (and maybe Joaquin?) need a mom. And as FP sees Kevin helping them get their lives back together and cooking for and taking care of his kids, he gradually starts to fall for him.

• A fic where FP is getting his life back together, maybe moving into a more stable house with Jughead, and for whatever reason, Kevin is coming around a lot (maybe he’s tutoring Jughead? Or maybe he’s really good with home repairs and their house needs some work?) and FP realizes he’s hot for him. Whether Kevin ever realizes FP’s feelings is up to you, but just FP lusting over Kevin and then feeling guilty for perving on one of his son’s friends is fine.

• FP isn’t really the knight in shining armor type, but he’s not without decency. Maybe Kevin is being blackmailed or exploited in some way, like being forced into prostitution or stripping, and FP shows up and rescues him/helps him get to a better place, in his own rough-around-the-edges way.

• Any scenario that has normally rough-and-tough FP letting his soft side show through and taking care of or protecting Kevin.

• Impregnation kink where FP either fantasizes about getting Kevin pregnant and has lots and lots of sex with him to get him that way, or Kevin is pregnant and FP is really turned on by his changing body and swelling breasts and is just really smug that Kevin is carrying *his* baby. Feel free to include lactation kink if you like.

• Fic where Kevin is lactating (can be due to pregnancy, or A/B/O-related reasons, or anything you please) and FP is really, really turned on by his breasts and is really eager to play with them and drink from them?

• Fic where Kevin is investigating with Betty and Jughead, and he gets into some kind of trouble, and FP has to go bail him out?

• AU where FP decides what Kevin really wants is a daddy, and so he himself seduces Kevin instead of Joaquin?

• Kevin does the Snake Dance at the Whyte Wyrm to show he’s loyal to FP. How does FP react?

Kevin Keller/Joaquin DeSantos

• Angst after Kevin discovers the truth about why Joaquin was dating him. I’m fine with Joaquin either trying to win Kevin back or his feelings for Kevin not being strong enough to continue the relationship after the charade is over, but I would really like to see an exploration of Kevin’s sense of heartbreak and betrayal. Would he be willing to give Joaquin another chance, or would he be too angry and humiliated?

• Alternatively, what was the moment Joaquin realized he was truly falling for Kevin?

• Anything with Joaquin being protective of Kevin, either due to other Serpents or a rival gang.

• If you want to write a more action-oriented Kevin, maybe he teams up with Betty and Jughead to solve Jason’s murder, and meets Joaquin along the way and starts a romance?

• An AU where Kevin is a street racer and meets Joaquin during an illegal street race. Maybe they become racing rivals? Does Joaquin find out that he’s the sheriff’s son?

• Fic where Kevin is lactating (can be due to pregnancy, or A/B/O-related reasons, or anything you please) and Joaquin is really, really turned on by his boyfriend’s breasts and is really eager to play with them and drink from them?

• Impregnation kink where Joaquin either fantasizes about getting Kevin pregnant and has lots and lots of sex with him to get him that way, or Kevin is pregnant and Joaquin is really turned on by his changing body and swelling breasts and is just really smug that Kevin is carrying *his* baby. • An AU where Joaquin is working really hard (and maybe going to an unenthusiastic FP for advice) to convince Kevin to date him, and Kevin is reluctant because he’s had a long string of bad boyfriends. None of Joaquin’s Serpent-style grand romantic gestures work, but then he just does some small, insignificant thing that convinces Kevin he’s really a good and dateable guy.

• An AU where Joaquin and Kevin first meet when Southside High merges with Northside High, and they get matched up through some sort of Valentine’s Day fundraiser (Maybe an athlete auction where other students bid on student athletes for a date with them? Or where students take a survey and then pay get a list of potential compatible dates?). Kevin initially has mixed feelings, but then finds himself having a great time and becoming Joaquin’s boyfriend.

• Kevin does the Snake Dance at the Whyte Wyrm to show he’s loyal to Joaquin. How does Joaquin react?

Kevin Keller/Sweet Pea

• A fic where Joaquin made Sweet Pea promise to him before he left that Sweet Pea would take care of Kevin if anything happened to Joaquin. Sweet Pea isn’t exactly happy, but he’s loyal, so he reluctantly starts checking up on Kevin and then finds himself falling for him.

• Anything with Sweet Pea being protective of Kevin or taking care of or rescuing him. Maybe Nick St. Clair drugs Kevin’s drink instead, and Sweet Pea somehow finds out and rescues him?

• The cops crash the Serpents vs. Ghoulies drag race, and Kevin stops to rescue Sweet Pea à la Brian saving Dom in the original The Fast and the Furious movie. Sweet Pea is begrudgingly grateful but instantly starts looking for a way to return the favor so he won’t be in debt to a Northsider and ends up falling for Kevin along the way.

• There’s a Southside vs. Northside drag race, and Sweet Pea names his terms: if he wins, he gets to take Kevin out on a date.

• Kevin does the Snake Dance at the Whyte Wyrm to officially be Sweet Pea’s boyfriends. How does Sweet Pea react to a Northsider demonstrating his loyalty to him?

• Fic where Kevin is pregnant and Sweet Pea is a gruff but doting father-to-be and is really tender and gentle with Kevin.

• When Southside High merges with Northside High, Kevin becomes Sweet Pea’s student guide/mentor. Sweet Pea really wants to dislike him, but finds himself reluctantly attracted to this Northsider.

• Somehow Kevin is cornered by the Black Hood, and in spite of his earlier support of the Black Hood and his dislike of Northsiders, Sweet Pea ends up rescuing him.

• Sweet Pea runs into Kevin again and again through mutual contact with Jughead, and reluctantly begins falling for him and then finally works up the nerve to ask Kevin out on a date.

Fangs Fogarty/Kevin Keller/Sweet Pea

• Sweet Pea and Fangs are an Alpha pair and Kevin is their Omega. Can go with some kind of AU, either historical or mundane, maybe where the Northside and Southside are completely at war, and Kevin is captured during a raid, discovered to be their mate, and is brought to them. He’s not sure what to expect, but they’re ecstatic to finally have their Omega, and they dress him in all sorts of fine clothes and proceed to absolutely spoil him. Or something in the show’s setting with them finding out he’s their Omega would be fantastic, too, as long as the two of them are very caring and excited to have Kevin with them.

• Kevin is pregnant and both Fangs and Sweet Pea are adoring fathers-to-be who are really happy about the pregnancy and very tender and loving with Kevin.

• Sweet Pea and Fangs come home battered and bruised from a fight; Kevin makes sure to take care of them by cleaning out their wounds, running them a hot bath so they can relax their sore muscles, sewing back their damaged clothing, cuddling with them in bed, etc, or anything else you’d like to include.

• Kevin does the Snake Dance for them at the Whyte Wyrm.

• Fangs and Sweet Pea have to protect/rescue Kevin from some kind of danger, be it the Ghoulies, the Black Hood, Nick St. Clair, or some other villain.

Tall Boy/Kevin Keller

For this pairing, I would prefer to ignore the 2x22 revelation that Tall Boy was the second Black Hood. I also prefer Tall Boy as a loyal Serpent than one of Hiram Lodge’s lackeys, as he was in 2x12.

• Tall Boy being a gruff but loving and doting boyfriend to Kevin. He’s tough most of the time, but he turns into a total softie around Kevin.

• Tall Boy meeting Kevin through one of the teen Serpents and initially being extremely unimpressed by him, but then seeing Kevin fight or stand up for one of the Serpents or something else, and then falling for him, if a bit reluctantly.

• Tall Boy being an unexpected knight in shining armor to Kevin and rescuing him from a dangerous situation. Even if he complains, Tall Boy realizes he feels something at seeing Kevin in danger, so he decides to act on it.

• Tall Boy being an unexpected gentleman toward Kevin, and Kevin really enjoying the special treatment.

• Kevin helping Tall Boy out with Serpent-related stuff—making a run to Canada, patching up Tall Boy or another Serpent, fixing a car for a drag race, etc. Just them working as a team and appreciating one another.

Kevin Keller/Southside Serpents

I really like the idea of some sort of scenario where it becomes necessary for Kevin to be involved with a whole bunch of Serpents at once. Maybe Kevin is involved with another Serpent, and he’s only allowed to date him as long as the other Serpents get to use Kevin, too? Some kind of consort arrangement for peace between the North and Southside, where Kevin has to serve any Serpent who asks? An A/B/O fic where Kevin is an Omega who serves all of the Serpent Alphas?

I’m fine with Kevin being reluctant at first, but nothing dark, noncon, or humiliation, please. I’d really like to see Kevin getting to know and care for various Serpent members and the Serpents spoiling Kevin and giving him all kinds of attention and gifts in turn. Feel free to use any of the ideas I’ve suggested in this fandom section as inspiration.

The Trixie Belden Mysteries

General

I’ve always been intrigued by Dan’s character and his relationships with the other characters, but he get so little focus in canon that the readers never get a lot of insight to his interpersonal interactions. I’m really curious about what he thinks of other people, and what he thinks of them.

One thing I’d prefer not to receive is a huge focus on Dan’s criminal past. Of course, mentioning it is unavoidable, but I tend to see him as someone who turned to crime out of desperation and the need to survive, given the deaths of both his parents. I know there’s a longstanding trend in fandom to write him as someone desperately atoning for his past sines who joined the BWGs as a way to make amends for wrongs he committed, but I’m more interested in seeing his current thoughts and relationships rather than how he feels about his past, if that makes any sense.

Dan Mangan/Jim Frayne

They don’t really have all that much canon interaction, but I really like the idea of Dan finding happiness with a good guy like Jim. Anything featuring them as a couple would make me happy, but I have few ideas if you’re interested.

• Something with an arranged marriage where Dan is a little uncertain at first, but Jim welcomes him into his home and his family.

• A fic where Jim gives Dan the identity bracelet he bought in Iowa.

• An A/B/O fic where Dan is Alpha Jim’s treasured Omega and Jim loves to spoil him.

• A sugar daddy-type fic where, even though he isn’t a particularly materialistic person, Jim loves to spoil Dan by buying him nice clothes and all sorts of gifts to show how much he loves him. Dan is kind of taken aback, but grateful all the same.

• Hurt/comfort with Dan as the one who’s hurt and Jim needs to comfort him. Are they stranded somewhere by a blizzard on the game preserve? Are they lost in the woods due to a mystery of Trixie’s or general BWG misadventures? Maybe Dan’s been roughed up by baddies?

• Fic where Jim goes out of his way to make sure Dan feels welcomed in Sleepyside and lets him know he has a place in the BWGs, which leads to him discovering his feelings for Dan.

Check Please!

My ultimate ship is Kent/Happiness. I really adore the fanon of Kent being the one to find Jack after his overdose, and I also subscribe to the theory that Jack ghosted on him afterward. I tend to see Kent and Jack’s past relationship as one where Kent tried to help and be there for Jack, but it simply wasn’t enough. I’m not particularly attached to the fanon about Kent having BPD or another mental illness, and would prefer if that wasn’t included, and I’m not a fan of fic of Kent apologizing to Jack and Bitty. I’m not big on “Kent goes to therapy fics,” but I am intrigued by characterizations from him when he lingering guilt or PTSD about Jack’s OD.

Kent Parson/Las Vegas Aces, Kent Parson/Original Male Character

I’m fine with this scenario being one in the kneeling verse where Kent as a rookie is kneeling for a veteran or multiple veterans, or this being an A/B/O situation where star rookie Kent is a rare Omega in pro sports and the test of the team or the senior members are expected to serve as his Alphas. Or it could be a scenario where Kent is simply dating one or multiple members of the team.

• It’s not public knowledge that Kent was the one to find Jack after his overdose, but one by one, a few of the Aces put it together.

• A few members of his team showing Kent that they honestly do care about him, and Kent realizing that he’s finally found other people to trust.

• If in a kneeling or A/B/O universe: Kent used to kneel/sub for Jack, but after Jack’s overdose, Kent blames himself for being too needy and thinking enough of Jack. He’s too depressed/guilt-ridden to have any type of sexual urges, which raises questions and curiosity when Kent is assigned to sub/kneel for an Ace veteran (or veterans). Gradually, Kent’s veteran(s) bring him out of his wallowing and show him that he’s worthwhile and worth caring for.

• Another kneeling or A/B/O universe idea: as if becomes more and more evident that his dom/Alpha has ended their relationship, Kent goes into subdrop that soon starts affecting his physical health. Another Ace or Aces steps in to give him the reassurance he needs.

• Aftercare for Kent after a night of intense sex.

• Kent going out to Vegas alone right after Jack’s overdose, generally feeling awful and guilty and kind of like he stole Jack’s life from him. One or a few of the Aces figures out he’s going through something rough, even if they don’t know exactly what it is, and try to comfort him.

• Kent gradually letting down his walls and letting in other people after Jack as has OD’d and ghosted him.

• Anything with Kent getting over Jack and bonding with his Ace teammates once he arrives in Vegas.
  
  
  Kent Parson/Original Male Character
  
  - I think it would be really interesting to have Kent dating and happy with one of Jack's Falconers teammates.
  
  - Kent finds someone who is outside of the hockey world and doesn't know much about the sport, but nevertheless becomes happy with them.
  
  - After the success of his Men's Health photoshoot, Kent is invited to do some more modelling, and meets someone through there.
  
  - Kent ends up meeting student at Samwell during one of his trips to see Jack and ends up starting a relationship with him. He comes down to Samwell more often, but not to see Jack, but to see his boyfriend.
  
  - Anything else you'd like to write about Kent and an OC boyfriend being happy and successful together.

Kent Parson/Jeff Troy

• Jeff mentoring Kent when he first comes to Vegas and eventually falling for him.
  
  

• Something with kneeling, like in hockey RPF, where Kent is expected to kneel for Jeff and does so, but is very reluctant to be involved with any of the more emotional aspects of the relationship because of his heartbreak over Jack’s overdose and subsequent ghosting of him. Jeff gradually coaxes Kent out of his shell.

• Jeff reassuring/supporting Kent after the Jack/Bitty kiss.

• Kent reestablishing contact with Bob and Alicia, and bringing Jeff over to meet them when he’s invited for dinner.
  
  Jeff helping Kent heal after Jack ghosts him.

• Kent being friends with Ransom, Holster, Shitty, and Lardo, and bringing Jeff to the Haus to meet them.
