maeve_of_winterHi writer! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my letter. I’m pretty easy to please, and as long as you write a fic that has nice things about my request pairings, I am guaranteed to love your fic.

Bulletproof stuff I like for all fandoms:
- Curtain fic. Feel free to give me all the fic about dudes trying new recipes together, cuddling on the couch after a long roadie, cuddling DURING a roadie, or just cuddling at home on their new couch that they’re really proud of buying.
- Power dynamics: Kneeling, Dom/sub, and A/B/O. As long as rookies, subs, and Omegas have the same rights as veteran players, Doms, and Alphas, I am all about these tropes. My absolute favorite aspect is the caretaking and tenderness aspect of the vet/Dom/Alpha taking care of their submissive, so if you wanted to write a fic all about that, I am down for it. I also like it when the team is made up of mostly Alphas or Doms, and so all of them make a point of being protective of (one of) their only Omega(s) or sub(s).
- Team as family. I love the protectiveness and tenderness and the willingness to stand up for your teammates. I especially like it when rookies who haven’t had the best home life or the nicest family join the team and find themselves barely comprehending that they’re loved and accepted.
- No homophobia AUs. I know coming out and angst about being in the closet is a big part of the fandoms I requested, but I personally would prefer if homophobia wasn’t an issue in the fic at all.
- Hurt/Comfort fic. I am all about one character being put through angst and then getting rescued by their love interest and friends and being coddled and cared for. One of my favorite scenarios in hockey fic is when evil!management is sexually exploiting/abusing a team member who has to kept it a secret for whatever reason and angsts and isolates himself from the rest of the team, and then their teammates find out and are outraged and protective. If you want to do something along those lines or even something entirely different, I know I’d love to read it. Or if you want to do something else, like a character having an abusive boyfriend and the team finding out, or a rape recovery fic from an incident that happened during junior hockey, I’d love to read that, too.
- Sick fic. I absolutely adore it when a character is sick but he refuses to admit and tries to persist onward only for his friends to push him back into bed and insists that he rest. If this guy actually goes ahead and tries to play a game only to collapse dramatically on the ice and make everyone frantic with worry, even better.
- Supernatural Elements. I love how a lot of hockey fic includes magical realism as part of the hockey world, and I love all the werewolf and pack fics, too. I also love stuff where a character gets cursed and has to find a way to undo the curse. The only supernatural creature I’m not too big on are vampires, but other than that, I’m down with anything. You want to make all of the team dryads or were-centaurs? You rock on.
- Tenderness and fluff. I have a huge things for guys sleeping in the same bed and just cuddling, even platonically. And I just enjoy dudes worrying for each other and making sure their (boy)friends are okay and wanting to take care of them. Even just curling up beside each other on the team plane or bus is wonderful to me.
- Smut. By no means do you have to write smut, but if you’re feeling the urge to write some deep dicking, here are a few ideas. I love blushy and sweet bottoms, especially if they pretend to be all cool and unaffected at first, and I love cute, shy boys in lingerie. I also love it when bottoms get absolutely overwhelmed by the size of the top’s dick and really struggle to take it, and also if even as they’re intimidated by the huge size, they still break down and beg to get railed. Overstimulation is good, too. Basically I love bottoms getting their minds absolutely blown.
- Mpreg. I love it, especially when the other partner is very protective of their expecting partner. Plus stuff when the other partner goes out of their way to be thoughtful and make sure the expecting partner is comfortable when the pregnancy is starting to take its toll is one of my favorite things to see in mpreg fic. Even if you want to do a fic about one of my requested characters getting pregnant by some rando and the team stepping up to take care of him (and maybe one member stepping up in particular?), that would be great with me.
- Kidfic. I just love tough hockey dudes with kids, so pretty much anything is great. If you want a specific prompt, an idea that I had is that maybe a character got pregnant in high school, and the other dad walked out, so they then had to temporarily shelve his hockey dreams while he took care of his child. Maybe he’s been hiding this from the team out of shame, and the team finds out and is absolutely delighted to meet their kid? (I’ve been picturing a daughter for this scenario, but if you want to give the player a son, go for it). And meeting the player’s kid and feeling OUTRAGED that the other dad left them to raise the kid alone forces a teammate to recognize that he has feelings for him?
- Age Difference. Not much to say here other than that I’m into older guy/younger guy, and I don’t mind daddy kink.
Other stuff I like:
Get-together, established relationship, A/B/O (as long as the Omegas still have rights), Dom/sub, tenderly bathing/washing each other, being really into seeing the smaller partner wear the bigger partner’s clothes, angst, hurt/comfort, tenderness, competence kink, caretaking, protectiveness, pet names, spoiling their partner, mundane fic about all of players’ duties to the team and press—especially if they’re captain, use of particular setting, snow day fic, cuddling, warming up in front of the fireplace, massages, supernatural AUs, magical realism, canon divergence AUs, delving into character backstories, revealing long-kept secrets, arranged marriages and learning to love each other afterward, characters revealing secret skills, found family.
Smut likes:
Size kink, size difference, manhandling, bondage, lactation kink, characters getting railed during sex to the point of speechlessness, ass appreciation, bottoms being utterly overwhelmed by the top’s attention.
Do Not Want:
- Rape in main pairings
- Unhappy endings
- Death fic
- Character bashing
- Career-ending Injuries
- Misogyny
- Homophobia, either internalized or externalized
Check Please
So, for this fandom, my ultimate ship is Kent/Happiness. I’m not particularly into Bitty or Jack, and I don’t share the desire to see Kent become friends with either of them that a lot of the fandom seems to feel, but I love all the other residents of the Haus, and there’s a special feeling in my heart for the original four of Lardo, Holster, Ransom, and Shitty. I also love the Aces as Kent’s found family, and I love Bob and Alicia at Kent’s stand-in parents. I’m not super into mental illness exploration regarding Kent’s fanon BPD, but I do like the fanon that he found Jack after his OD and has remaining trauma from that.
One thing I should mention is that I’m very into the idea of Kent having friendships with RL hockey players. The Bruins are my team, and I love Marchand, Chara, and Bergeron, and I also like the Flyers (Gritty!) and the Capitals (Ovi and Nicke!), but feel to include any team or players you want. The only teams I’m not into are the Stars, Blackhawks, and Penguins (Fleury and Kessel are both fine to include, though). However, if you’re not comfortable with RPF, that is absolutely fine.
Bob Zimmermann/Kent Parson
I love this pairing because I’m very into Kent being thoroughly appreciated by an older man, but I don’t mind if this fic goes a little bit twisted or dark, as long as the two of them have genuine affection for one another. I also don’t mind underage here as long as Kent is at least sixteen.
Prompts:
- Any and all sugar daddy kink is welcome here.
- Bob taking Kent shopping so he can buy him something else to wear besides jeans and plaid and having him dress up in all kinds of fancy clothes.
- Bob going to Vegas to visit Kent during Kent’s rookie year and Kent turns to him for comfort, so Bob obligeswith his dick.
- Bob and Kent going to some kind of NHL event together and Kent being the scandalously young and pretty date of Bob’s that has everyone talking.
- In pre-draft days, an argument with Jack leads to Kent confiding in Bob and then Bob taking his virginity.
- Bob and Kent getting together permanently once Jack is with the NHL, and Jack’s reaction to it.
- In general, Bob being gentle with Kent and spoiling him and treating him like he’s the most precious thing in the world.
Bob Zimmermann/Kent/Alicia Zimmermann
Again, anything is fine here. I’m just in this for love and tenderness for Kent. But since that’s not much to go on, I’ll try to give you some inspiration.
Prompts:
- Bob and Alicia both spoiling their boy. Can be sexual or not, but just all the love and tenderness.
- Kent being back in their house for the holidays just as he was prior to the draft, but this time knowing without a doubt that home is where Bob and Alicia are.
- Him taking both of them to a fancy NHL event—maybe the NHL Awards?
Alicia attending Homecoming at Samwell and bringing both Kent and Bob with her. And of course the Haus would be clamoring to meet both of them.
- If you want to do a fic of other characters’ reactions, I would love to see that. What do other players, either RL or original to Check Please or both, think of this triad?
Some distance growing between Kent and Bob and Alicia after the draft, but then the two of them meeting Kent again by chance and realizing that they don’t want to be apart from him and in fact want him in their lives in a new way.
Suzanne Bittle/Kent/Coach Bittle
I am fine with anything for this pairing, from sexy to sweet, but I know that’s not super helpful to writing inspiration, so here are a few general ideas.
Also, please don’t feel like you have to make Bitty and Kent be best friends here; I can see where the situation would be strange and awkward on Bitty’s end.
Prompts:
- Coach and Suzanne proudly showing Kent off at football games and social luncheons, taking him to church picnics and brunches, very proud of being able to win over their gorgeous boy.
- Holiday dinners with both Kent and Jack and Bitty in attendance, with Coach and Suzanne intent on spoiling their boy and Bitty not knowing how to act around his parents’ paramour who’s also his boyfriend’s ex.
- Celebrating the Fourth of July and going out of their way to make it extra special for Kent since it’s also his birthday, and Kent just being really pleased that they’re so determined to make it good for him.
- Kent winning the Stanley Cup and again and getting mobbed out on the ice by the two of them, who are just so proud.
- Coach and Suzanne treating Kent with all of the hospitality and gentility a Southern gentleman and lady can give and Kent being blushy and wowed and flattered by all of the attention.
Kent Parson/Jeff “Swoops” Troy
Prompts:
- Regency AU (Could be combined with A/B/O if you like): Kent was engaged to Jack, but then Jack causes some kind of scandal (Being caught having an affair with Bitty? A different version of his drug overdose?) and Kent had to very quickly marry someone else (Jeff) to avoid becoming disgraced alongside Jack. And then the two of them have to find a way to make things work even though they never anticipated marrying.
- A fic set when Kent first gets to Vegas and is having a really good first rookie season, but the news keeps on constantly reiterating the story of Kent and Jack and Jack’s overdose whenever Kent has a winning game. Jeff, who’s already beginning to fall for Kent, tries to comfort him about it.
- A fic where Kent comes to Vegas, and Jeff is prepared to dislike him for being a party boy, but finds himself unwilling impressed by Kent and then begins to falls for him.
- An A/B/O or D/s or Kneeling verse fic where Jeff is assigned to be Omega! or sub!Kent’s service!Alpha or service!Dom. Jeff is perfectly okay with this and is intending to keep everything professional and not get all that emotionally involved, especially since it’s clear Kent still isn’t over Jack, but then he finds himself falling for Kent in spite of everything.
- I like the headcanon that Kent pretty much lives in jeans and flannel when he’s not in his hockey uniform or in his suit, and I’d love to see a fic with Jeff going out of his way to appreciate Kent when he’s dressed up in different kinds of clothes.
- Kent wearing Jeff’s clothing around the house, and Jeff being really turned on by this and going out of his way to show Kent just how hot he finds it.
- Kent trying to visit Jack during his rookie year, being rejected, and then being comforted by Jeff.
Jeff not being able to work up the nerve to confess his feelings for Kent, but then Kent does his Men’s Health American flag photoshoot, and is suddenly flocked by admirers and invitations to do more risque advertisements, and Jeff needing to decide if he’s going to stake his claim or not.
- Jeff comforting Kent after a nightmare (maybe when they’re sharing a room on a roadie?)
- An A/B/O or D/s or Kneeling verse fic where Jeff is assigned to be Omega! or sub!Kent’s service!Alpha or service!Dom. Jeff has to figure out how to reach Kent, who’s too brokenhearted by Jack’s OD and subsequent ghosting of him to get what he needs from Jeff.
- Something sweet with Jeff and Kent realizing that the other is the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with—maybe Kent sees Jeff being cute with Kitt? Maybe they’re taking care of a teammate’s kid for the day? Maybe one of them just gives the other exactly the comfort they need after a bad day?
- Wedding fic for the two of them. I picture Kent more as the kind of guy who’s most comfortable with elopement or something low-key, but maybe he feels obligated as captain to incorporate his team his team in someway?
- Something with Kent really working hard to improve life for the citizens of Vegas. This is kind of an odd one, but I really like the idea of Kent being a man of the people and Jeff either falling for him along the way, or already being his supportive partner.
- Kent becoming extremely tired and overworked from his captain’s duties and not being good at taking care of himself, so Jeff steps in to take care of him, either in a mundane or sexy way.
Kent Parson/Ransom/Holster
Prompts:
- Kent goes to the Haus to see Jack, Jack rejects him, and then Kent finds himself hanging out with Ransom and Holster for the night, either staying in or going out, thought I think it would be really cool if they ended up spending a night in Boston. Can end in friendship, romance, or sexiness as long as they have a fun time together.
- EpiKegster AU where Kent stays at the Haus, gets drunk, and ends up having a threesome with Holster and Ransom. I’m fine with just seeing the morning after for this event and seeing Holster and Ransom’s reaction to who they bagged. Do they then take him out to brunch at Jerry’s? How does Kent feel about it all? Does Jack find out?
- A/B/O ‘verse: Kent is an omega, Holster and Ransom are both alphas, and somehow Kent goes into heat (pushed there due to extreme stress, or maybe some kind of defense mechanism after being rejected by Jack?) and they have to take care of him.
Something where Kent’s been hurt in a game and Holster and Ransom take care of him, or they’re at one of his games and see him get hurt and rush to the hospital to be with him.
- I subscribe to the headcanon that Kent comes from a broken background and never really had very positive experiences with them. So I’d really be into seeing a fic where he’s spending time with Ransom or Holster’s family (either for the holidays, a birthday party, a reunion, etc.), and is really surprised and flattered by how friendly everyone is and how much he likes spending time with them.
- Something cute where Kent is sponsoring an adopt-a-thon for a Vegas animal shelter, and the three of them find another pet to bring home to be friends with Kit Purrson?
- Something happens to Kent while he’s away (he gets injured or sick or goes missing temporarily or something) and Holster and Ransom have to stay where they are and worry about him.
- An Old West AU. I just really love this setting, and I’d love to see what roles you pick for each character. Is Kent a bounty hunter? Maybe a ranch hand on Holster and Ransom’s cattle farm who’s running from dark past? Maybe he’s a wrongly accused fugitive who they need to hide? I’d love to see anything you come up with.
- After being with Holster and Ransom for several years and them always wondering but never pushing him about what happened with Jack, Kent finally tells them about finding Jack after the OD and what life was like for him at first in Vegas when he was trying and failing to reconnect with Jack (and Bob and Alicia, if you like). I think it would be really good to see Kent trust them enough to tell them all of this.

Kent Parson/Las Vegas Aces
Prompts:
- Kneeling verse: As rookie, Kent is assigned to kneel for an Aces veteran but is too brokenhearted from Jack’s OD and ghosting of him to be capable of engaging emotionally with his vet. Could be anything from the vet noticing what’s going on and comforting Kent about it to maybe something like Kent avoiding ever going to his vet until he’s confronted about it by the vet or the captain and having little choice but to reveal the truth.
- Dom/sub ‘verse: sub!Kent either being in subdrop or just a depression because of Jack’s ghosting of him, and one of the Dom!Aces, knowing Kent needs to be taken care of, steps in to be his Dom. This doesn’t have to be sexy, could just be cuddling and reassuring, but I’d really enjoy seeing an Ace shower Kent with comfort and affection when he really needs it.
- Any kind of verse where a bunch of the Aces vets decide for [reasons] that Kent needs to be deeply and thoroughly railed by each and every one of them. Maybe they want to let Kent know they’re there for him, they want to convince him to forget about Jack, or if A/B/O or D/s, they’re demonstrating their prowess to him so he’ll pick one of them as a service top?
- A/B/O or Dom/sub verse: sub! or omega!Kent still struggling with the feeling that he failed Jack, his previous Dom or alpha, and feels even worse because Jack’s still on his mind when he has a new Dom or alpha on the Aces. He feels disloyal to both Jack and his Ace, and he tries to fight off the feeling for a while before it gets too much to bear and his Ace steps into to help him through it.
- Kent being surrounded by rumors and speculation when he gets to Vegas, with the other Aces knowing about Jack’s OD but it not being clear if Kent also uses drugs or what was going on with him and Jack. Maybe an Ace thinks that Kent’s a party boy who’s going to be locker room poison, but finds himself charmed by Kent anyway, and then he eventually discovers that Kent was not only dating Jack but found him after his overdose. Kent thinks the Ace won’t want him when he has this kind of baggage, but the Ace still does.
- Any verse: Kent trying to go see Jack in rehab (maybe the Aces have a game against the Montreal Canadiens?), and being rejected by him and then getting comforted by the Ace. Maybe they’re not together yet, and this incident makes the Ace realize how much Kent means to him?
- Any verse: Aftercare for Kent. Could be after a scene, after a heat, after any other kind of exhausting sex or event for Kent, but anything with an Ace taking care of him when he needs it.
- Any verse: Kent having a kind of symbiotic relationship with Jack that boiled down to constantly giving Jack reassurance in exchange for his affection and Jack valuing him for that reason, but still loving Jack in spite of that. He gets to Vegas, and even though he misses Jack dearly at first, he begins to realize just how freeing it is not to have to be Jack’s emotional crutch, and ends up finding happiness with a teammate.
- Any verse: Aces being protective of Kent for reasons or just being nice to him. I think it would work especially well if set during a time when none of the Zimmermanns, including Bob and Alicia, were really speaking to Kent, so Kent is feeling guilty and lonely and like he doesn’t really deserve to have anyone be nice to him, but still finding friends within the Aces anyway.
- Kent becoming extremely tired and overworked from his captain’s duties and not being good at taking care of himself, so his Ace(s) step in to take care of him, either in a mundane or sexy way.
Hockey RPF
Right off the bat, one thing I’ll say is that I absolutely adore Chara, and I think he’s a great captain, and I love his father-son, older brother-younger-brother relationship with Charlie McAvoy, and all of my ships involve either one or both of them. So if you’re looking for ideas, a cute scene with the two of them together, even if it’s not romantic, is something that I will always treasure. I also like the friendship/bromance between Charlie and Gryz and their backstory of meeting at college, so feel free to include any moments with them that you want.
Boston Bruins/Charlie McAvoy
Prompts:
- Okay, so I would totally be into Charlie being one of the team’s only Omegas or subs, and the rest of the team consisting of mostly Alphas and Doms, so they’re very protective of him and got out of their way to make him feel treasured and happy. Getting him little gifts, always making sure someone is cuddling him on the plane or bus rides, fretting over whether he’s getting enough to eat, etc. Also, if you wanted to write something smutty and have Charlie go into heat unexpectedly and need to get gangbanged until he passes out from taking knot after knot, that would get a big thumb’s up from me.
- Also, I would love a scenario where Charlie’s hiding his dynamic as a sub or Omega out of shame or fear that he wouldn’t be accepted, but eventually his health starts to become an issue because of missing too many heats/ignoring his sub urges/whatever, and he dramatically passes out, much to the worry of his team, who then find out the truth about him and still love him and accept him and treat him very tenderly. (Also, this is a great scenario for Gryz or Zee to cuddle him reassuringly, just sayin’.)
- Another idea I had is one where Charlie is dating one of the other younger Bruins (Gryz or Jake or whoever you want), who still needs help learning how to dom Charlie the right way, so some of the Bruins veteran players step in to help him out.
- If you’re not into those tropes but would still like to do something with power dynamics, I’d love to read a fic about Charlie kneeling for veterans players and being shy and being treated tenderly by them. Maybe he feels really self-conscious and like he’s not doing a good enough job, or maybe his non-Gryz teammates at College were really awful to him, and now the vets have to assure him that they’re not going to treat him the same way? You don’t even have to include kneeling if you’re not into, just a fic about Charlie being reassured and comforted by the vets on his team would be wonderful to read.
- Anything, just anything, with Charlie just being loved and treasured by a whole team of boyfriends (Maybe Zee has a policy where rookies can go to whoever on the team they chose to for comfort?) and getting all the cuddles and kisses and sex he needs from them.
- And if you’re into smut, a scenario where Charlie has be gangbanged by the Bruins for his own good would be great, too.
- Also, if you don’t want to write Charlie with the Bruins ensemble and want to use one of the ideas that I’ve suggested to write him with one particular Bruin, that’s fine, too.
Jake DeBrusk/Charlie McAvoy
Prompts:
- I love the dynamic of these two that I see in fic of Jake being loud and liking to party and wearing his heart on his sleeve while Charlie is shyer and more hesitant. I feel like they wouldn’t necessarily read people and each other the same way, which could end up complicating their relationship or chances of getting together, but I think that maybe with some helpful nudging from their teammates, it would work out in the end.
- I don’t really have too many A/B/O or Dom/sub prompts for this pairing, but if you do want to do something with those tropes, go ahead. I do have fun imagining Alpha!Jake going through all kinds of Alpha posturing around Omega!Charlie to impress him, only for Charlie to have settled into the mindset of not getting together with any of teammates even if he wants to because it’s thought of as unprofessional, so Jake has to scramble to convince him otherwise. But if you want to do something else, I’d love to read your take.
- One scenario that keeps popping into my mind is Jake pining desperately after Charlie, who is totally unaware that Jake considers him anything more than a friend. Jake also thinks that Charlie is really into someone else, like a friend from college or even a fellow teammate (when Charlie actually isn’t or maybe just has a small crush), so he begins to assemble increasingly dramatic attempts to prove his love to Charlie, while not actually verbalizing his feelings. Charlie is “???” at Jake’s behavior, while their teammates just sigh and roll their eyes at their behavior. What is it that spurs Jake to finally tell Charlie of his feelings for him?
- Jake and Charlie hanging out all the time, really enjoying being with each other, constantly thinking about each other, and Jake thinking, “Wow, I’m so glad we’re such good friends,” and just loving being around Cheeks. Charlie low-key confesses his feelings, Jake doesn’t really understand and accidentally rejects him, and Charlie is devastated and stops hanging out with him, and Jake is confused as to why and has to fight to get his friend back, and realizes that he’s actually been in love with Charlie the whole time. (Bonus points for including Bruins veterans just shaking their heads and despairing over their poor communication.)
- I’m a sucker for “five times plus one” kinds of fic, so if you wanted something along those lines, please go ahead. Five times Jake and Charlie were mistaken for a couple and one time they actually were? Five times a teammate realized their feelings for each other before the other one did? Feel free to do whatever you want.
- Anything you want to do with these two is fine with me, so if you’ve had a Jake/Charlie plot bunny hopping around in your hand that you’re itching to turn into a fic, please go ahead and write that for. I’m just excited to see what you have in store!
Zdeno Chara/Charlie McAvoy
I am super into Alpha!Zee treating Omega!Charlie like the most precious thing in the world and being super devoted to him and taking pains to let him know that he’s loved and cared for. Would read the same scenario with Dom!Zee and sub!Charlie and Captain!Zee and Rookie!Charlie. (Though I guess Zee would call him a first-year player, since he doesn’t like the term “rookie”.)
In all honesty, I will read any scenario with these two as long it has Zee being good to Charlie. You want to do some Harlequin romance-style arranged marriage where they actually fall in love? You want to write a Beauty and the Beast AU where Zee’s been cursed by a vindictive Sidney Crosby and needs Charlie’s love to set him free? Go ahead. I’m just really into getting scenes of these two snuggling and Zee treating Charlie tenderly and cooking for him.
But I have a few ideas if you’re interested in hearing them.
Prompts:
- Shy!Rookie!Charlie slowly coming into his own and warming up to the team and Zee in particular.
- Zee being relly into Charlie's thicker (thicc), sturdier body and making his appreciation known.
- Maybe a recovery fic after Charlie was treated badly by his college team (please not Matt, though), and regaining his confidence now that he’s with kinder teammates, and Zee being there for him throughout?
- Charlie being utterly spoiled by Zee, who is content on adoring him and showing him how much he's loved.
- Size kink where Zee puts that height to use.
Zdeno Chara/Boston Bruins
Prompts:
- If you’re into writing Dom/sub or A/B/O, I would positively adore a fic with Zee being the ultimate tender and gentle Dom or Alpha who takes the absolute best care of his sub or Omega teammates. Or if you wanted, you could set this fic in a universe where it’s expected that rookies have to give themselves over to their captain for sex, but instead of treating them roughly like they expect, he takes really good care of the rookies and maybe doesn’t even have sex with them at all and just helps them feel good.
- If you have a real hankering to write Zee being with one particular Bruin and would like to use this request as an excuse to write that fic, please feel free to do that. And if you’d prefer to go in a more platonic direction with dad!Zee taking care of the team and helping them with any personal struggles (or maybe helping another couple get together?), I’d love that, too. Just Zee as the wonderful gentle and loving captain that he is.
- I’m really into hurt/comfort scenarios, and I love it when there’s a character who’s emotionally damaged and gets comfort from someone who simply cares for them and wants to treat them well. I think Zee is definitely the latter person. So I’d just like to see someone who’s wounded and hurting and Zee caring for them and making sure they’re okay. If you wanted to include A/B/O or D/s here, with Zee being an Alpha or a Dom who rescues an Omega or sub from a bad situation or an abusive team, I’d love to see that, but I’m also eager to see this situation anywhere, so feel free to use the regular world as well.

Jaromir Jagr/Kent “Parse” Parson
I feel like this pairing has a lot of potential. It doesn’t even have to necessarily be a lasting romantic relationship. I’d be into a friends with benefits situation, or “we fucked once and then became friends” situation, or a temporary fling, or even a bittersweet “the one that got away” situation that has them both interested but never going through with a move for reasons.
One aspect I’m really into for them is the age difference, both in a sexy way, and because I think that even if they were having sex on a casual basis, Jagr would recognize that Kent’s young but has been through a lot in his life.

- Kent meeting Jar through Bob back before the draft and being a starstruck teen fan, and then meeting him again (at the Olympics or lockout?) as a far more scarred and cynical person after Jack’s overdose, and Jagr recognizing the changes and wanting to help himwith his dick.

Kent Parson/Boston Bruins and Kent Parson & Boston Bruins
Okay, so I have two motivations here: the first is that I love the Bruins and would love more positive fic about them, and the second is that I love Kent and would love for his trips into Boston to include something more than just sad arguments with Jack. So what I’m looking for here is fic where after visiting Jack, Kent gets some comfort, or fics where he’s not going to Boston to visit Jack anymore, but to visit his (boy)friends.
Any of the Bruins are fine, and Chara is my absolute favorite, and I also really like Begeron, Marchand, and Rask, but feel free to include any or as many of the other Bruins as you like.
Prompts:
- Werebear fic! You can do anything you want with this one, but I am especially into seeing Kent get cuddled by werebears.
- Kent being the Omega to a pack of Alpha Bruins and them loving him and treating them sweetly.
- Hurt/comfort fic after one of the times Kent goes to Samwell to try to speak with Jack and then goes and gets support and sympathy from the Bruins.
- Fic where Kent goes to Boston, but this time it’s to hang out with his (boy)friends. Bonus if he just so happens to run into Jack and Jack can see that Kent is demonstrably not there for him at all.
- For a more specific prompt, I really like the idea of Kent being a single dad with a young daughter (maybe Jack’s the scumbag absentee other dad who knocked him up and left him?) and the daughter getting a bunch of uncles or stepdads through the Bruins. I feel like Marchand and Chara especially would be especially great for this prompt since they’re so good with kids.
- Size difference kink, since Kent is smaller and slimmer than most hockey players? Doesn’t even really have to be sexual; it can just be them enjoying how easily they can tug him into their laps and hold him there, how big their hands look on his narrow waist, etc.
- Gangbang with Kent after the 2011 Cup win.

Bulletproof stuff I like for all fandoms:
- Curtain fic. Feel free to give me all the fic about dudes trying new recipes together, cuddling on the couch after a long roadie, cuddling DURING a roadie, or just cuddling at home on their new couch that they’re really proud of buying.
- Power dynamics: Kneeling, Dom/sub, and A/B/O. As long as rookies, subs, and Omegas have the same rights as veteran players, Doms, and Alphas, I am all about these tropes. My absolute favorite aspect is the caretaking and tenderness aspect of the vet/Dom/Alpha taking care of their submissive, so if you wanted to write a fic all about that, I am down for it. I also like it when the team is made up of mostly Alphas or Doms, and so all of them make a point of being protective of (one of) their only Omega(s) or sub(s).
- Team as family. I love the protectiveness and tenderness and the willingness to stand up for your teammates. I especially like it when rookies who haven’t had the best home life or the nicest family join the team and find themselves barely comprehending that they’re loved and accepted.
- No homophobia AUs. I know coming out and angst about being in the closet is a big part of the fandoms I requested, but I personally would prefer if homophobia wasn’t an issue in the fic at all.
- Hurt/Comfort fic. I am all about one character being put through angst and then getting rescued by their love interest and friends and being coddled and cared for. One of my favorite scenarios in hockey fic is when evil!management is sexually exploiting/abusing a team member who has to kept it a secret for whatever reason and angsts and isolates himself from the rest of the team, and then their teammates find out and are outraged and protective. If you want to do something along those lines or even something entirely different, I know I’d love to read it. Or if you want to do something else, like a character having an abusive boyfriend and the team finding out, or a rape recovery fic from an incident that happened during junior hockey, I’d love to read that, too.
- Sick fic. I absolutely adore it when a character is sick but he refuses to admit and tries to persist onward only for his friends to push him back into bed and insists that he rest. If this guy actually goes ahead and tries to play a game only to collapse dramatically on the ice and make everyone frantic with worry, even better.
- Supernatural Elements. I love how a lot of hockey fic includes magical realism as part of the hockey world, and I love all the werewolf and pack fics, too. I also love stuff where a character gets cursed and has to find a way to undo the curse. The only supernatural creature I’m not too big on are vampires, but other than that, I’m down with anything. You want to make all of the team dryads or were-centaurs? You rock on.
- Tenderness and fluff. I have a huge things for guys sleeping in the same bed and just cuddling, even platonically. And I just enjoy dudes worrying for each other and making sure their (boy)friends are okay and wanting to take care of them. Even just curling up beside each other on the team plane or bus is wonderful to me.
- Smut. By no means do you have to write smut, but if you’re feeling the urge to write some deep dicking, here are a few ideas. I love blushy and sweet bottoms, especially if they pretend to be all cool and unaffected at first, and I love cute, shy boys in lingerie. I also love it when bottoms get absolutely overwhelmed by the size of the top’s dick and really struggle to take it, and also if even as they’re intimidated by the huge size, they still break down and beg to get railed. Overstimulation is good, too. Basically I love bottoms getting their minds absolutely blown.
- Mpreg. I love it, especially when the other partner is very protective of their expecting partner. Plus stuff when the other partner goes out of their way to be thoughtful and make sure the expecting partner is comfortable when the pregnancy is starting to take its toll is one of my favorite things to see in mpreg fic. Even if you want to do a fic about one of my requested characters getting pregnant by some rando and the team stepping up to take care of him (and maybe one member stepping up in particular?), that would be great with me.
- Kidfic. I just love tough hockey dudes with kids, so pretty much anything is great. If you want a specific prompt, an idea that I had is that maybe a character got pregnant in high school, and the other dad walked out, so they then had to temporarily shelve his hockey dreams while he took care of his child. Maybe he’s been hiding this from the team out of shame, and the team finds out and is absolutely delighted to meet their kid? (I’ve been picturing a daughter for this scenario, but if you want to give the player a son, go for it). And meeting the player’s kid and feeling OUTRAGED that the other dad left them to raise the kid alone forces a teammate to recognize that he has feelings for him?
- Age Difference. Not much to say here other than that I’m into older guy/younger guy, and I don’t mind daddy kink.
Other stuff I like:

So, for this fandom, my ultimate ship is Kent/Happiness. I’m not particularly into Bitty or Jack, and I don’t share the desire to see Kent become friends with either of them that a lot of the fandom seems to feel, but I love all the other residents of the Haus, and there’s a special feeling in my heart for the original four of Lardo, Holster, Ransom, and Shitty. I also love the Aces as Kent’s found family, and I love Bob and Alicia at Kent’s stand-in parents. I’m not super into mental illness exploration regarding Kent’s fanon BPD, but I do like the fanon that he found Jack after his OD and has remaining trauma from that.
One thing I should mention is that I’m very into the idea of Kent having friendships with RL hockey players. The Bruins are my team, and I love Marchand, Chara, and Bergeron, and I also like the Flyers (Gritty!) and the Capitals (Ovi and Nicke!), but feel to include any team or players you want. The only teams I’m not into are the Stars, Blackhawks, and Penguins (Fleury and Kessel are both fine to include, though). However, if you’re not comfortable with RPF, that is absolutely fine.
Bob Zimmermann/Kent Parson
I love this pairing because I’m very into Kent being thoroughly appreciated by an older man, but I don’t mind if this fic goes a little bit twisted or dark, as long as the two of them have genuine affection for one another. I also don’t mind underage here as long as Kent is at least sixteen.
Prompts:
- Any and all sugar daddy kink is welcome here.
- Bob taking Kent shopping so he can buy him something else to wear besides jeans and plaid and having him dress up in all kinds of fancy clothes.
- Bob going to Vegas to visit Kent during Kent’s rookie year and Kent turns to him for comfort, so Bob obliges

I am fine with anything for this pairing, from sexy to sweet, but I know that’s not super helpful to writing inspiration, so here are a few general ideas.
Also, please don’t feel like you have to make Bitty and Kent be best friends here; I can see where the situation would be strange and awkward on Bitty’s end.
Prompts:
- Coach and Suzanne proudly showing Kent off at football games and social luncheons, taking him to church picnics and brunches, very proud of being able to win over their gorgeous boy.

Kent Parson/Jeff “Swoops” Troy
Prompts:
- Regency AU (Could be combined with A/B/O if you like): Kent was engaged to Jack, but then Jack causes some kind of scandal (Being caught having an affair with Bitty? A different version of his drug overdose?) and Kent had to very quickly marry someone else (Jeff) to avoid becoming disgraced alongside Jack. And then the two of them have to find a way to make things work even though they never anticipated marrying.
- A fic set when Kent first gets to Vegas and is having a really good first rookie season, but the news keeps on constantly reiterating the story of Kent and Jack and Jack’s overdose whenever Kent has a winning game. Jeff, who’s already beginning to fall for Kent, tries to comfort him about it.
- A fic where Kent comes to Vegas, and Jeff is prepared to dislike him for being a party boy, but finds himself unwilling impressed by Kent and then begins to falls for him.
- An A/B/O or D/s or Kneeling verse fic where Jeff is assigned to be Omega! or sub!Kent’s service!Alpha or service!Dom. Jeff is perfectly okay with this and is intending to keep everything professional and not get all that emotionally involved, especially since it’s clear Kent still isn’t over Jack, but then he finds himself falling for Kent in spite of everything.
- I like the headcanon that Kent pretty much lives in jeans and flannel when he’s not in his hockey uniform or in his suit, and I’d love to see a fic with Jeff going out of his way to appreciate Kent when he’s dressed up in different kinds of clothes.

- Something with Kent really working hard to improve life for the citizens of Vegas. This is kind of an odd one, but I really like the idea of Kent being a man of the people and Jeff either falling for him along the way, or already being his supportive partner.
- Kent becoming extremely tired and overworked from his captain’s duties and not being good at taking care of himself, so Jeff steps in to take care of him, either in a mundane or sexy way.
Kent Parson/Ransom/Holster
Prompts:
- Kent goes to the Haus to see Jack, Jack rejects him, and then Kent finds himself hanging out with Ransom and Holster for the night, either staying in or going out, thought I think it would be really cool if they ended up spending a night in Boston. Can end in friendship, romance, or sexiness as long as they have a fun time together.
- EpiKegster AU where Kent stays at the Haus, gets drunk, and ends up having a threesome with Holster and Ransom. I’m fine with just seeing the morning after for this event and seeing Holster and Ransom’s reaction to who they bagged. Do they then take him out to brunch at Jerry’s? How does Kent feel about it all? Does Jack find out?
- A/B/O ‘verse: Kent is an omega, Holster and Ransom are both alphas, and somehow Kent goes into heat (pushed there due to extreme stress, or maybe some kind of defense mechanism after being rejected by Jack?) and they have to take care of him.
Something where Kent’s been hurt in a game and Holster and Ransom take care of him, or they’re at one of his games and see him get hurt and rush to the hospital to be with him.
- I subscribe to the headcanon that Kent comes from a broken background and never really had very positive experiences with them. So I’d really be into seeing a fic where he’s spending time with Ransom or Holster’s family (either for the holidays, a birthday party, a reunion, etc.), and is really surprised and flattered by how friendly everyone is and how much he likes spending time with them.
- Something cute where Kent is sponsoring an adopt-a-thon for a Vegas animal shelter, and the three of them find another pet to bring home to be friends with Kit Purrson?
- Something happens to Kent while he’s away (he gets injured or sick or goes missing temporarily or something) and Holster and Ransom have to stay where they are and worry about him.
- An Old West AU. I just really love this setting, and I’d love to see what roles you pick for each character. Is Kent a bounty hunter? Maybe a ranch hand on Holster and Ransom’s cattle farm who’s running from dark past? Maybe he’s a wrongly accused fugitive who they need to hide? I’d love to see anything you come up with.
- After being with Holster and Ransom for several years and them always wondering but never pushing him about what happened with Jack, Kent finally tells them about finding Jack after the OD and what life was like for him at first in Vegas when he was trying and failing to reconnect with Jack (and Bob and Alicia, if you like). I think it would be really good to see Kent trust them enough to tell them all of this.

Could be anything from the vet noticing what’s going on and comforting Kent about it to maybe something like Kent avoiding ever going to his vet until he’s confronted about it by the vet or the captain and having little choice but to reveal the truth.
- Dom/sub ‘verse: sub!Kent either being in subdrop or just a depression because of Jack’s ghosting of him, and one of the Dom!Aces, knowing Kent needs to be taken care of, steps in to be his Dom. This doesn’t have to be sexy, could just be cuddling and reassuring, but I’d really enjoy seeing an Ace shower Kent with comfort and affection when he really needs it.
- Any kind of verse where a bunch of the Aces vets decide for [reasons] that Kent needs to be deeply and thoroughly railed by each and every one of them. Maybe they want to let Kent know they’re there for him, they want to convince him to forget about Jack, or if A/B/O or D/s, they’re demonstrating their prowess to him so he’ll pick one of them as a service top?
- A/B/O or Dom/sub verse: sub! or omega!Kent still struggling with the feeling that he failed Jack, his previous Dom or alpha, and feels even worse because Jack’s still on his mind when he has a new Dom or alpha on the Aces. He feels disloyal to both Jack and his Ace, and he tries to fight off the feeling for a while before it gets too much to bear and his Ace steps into to help him through it.
- Kent being surrounded by rumors and speculation when he gets to Vegas, with the other Aces knowing about Jack’s OD but it not being clear if Kent also uses drugs or what was going on with him and Jack. Maybe an Ace thinks that Kent’s a party boy who’s going to be locker room poison, but finds himself charmed by Kent anyway, and then he eventually discovers that Kent was not only dating Jack but found him after his overdose. Kent thinks the Ace won’t want him when he has this kind of baggage, but the Ace still does.
- Any verse: Kent trying to go see Jack in rehab (maybe the Aces have a game against the Montreal Canadiens?), and being rejected by him and then getting comforted by the Ace. Maybe they’re not together yet, and this incident makes the Ace realize how much Kent means to him?
- Any verse: Aftercare for Kent. Could be after a scene, after a heat, after any other kind of exhausting sex or event for Kent, but anything with an Ace taking care of him when he needs it.
- Any verse: Kent having a kind of symbiotic relationship with Jack that boiled down to constantly giving Jack reassurance in exchange for his affection and Jack valuing him for that reason, but still loving Jack in spite of that. He gets to Vegas, and even though he misses Jack dearly at first, he begins to realize just how freeing it is not to have to be Jack’s emotional crutch, and ends up finding happiness with a teammate.
- Any verse: Aces being protective of Kent for reasons or just being nice to him. I think it would work especially well if set during a time when none of the Zimmermanns, including Bob and Alicia, were really speaking to Kent, so Kent is feeling guilty and lonely and like he doesn’t really deserve to have anyone be nice to him, but still finding friends within the Aces anyway.
- Kent becoming extremely tired and overworked from his captain’s duties and not being good at taking care of himself, so his Ace(s) step in to take care of him, either in a mundane or sexy way.
Hockey RPF
Right off the bat, one thing I’ll say is that I absolutely adore Chara, and I think he’s a great captain, and I love his father-son, older brother-younger-brother relationship with Charlie McAvoy, and all of my ships involve either one or both of them. So if you’re looking for ideas, a cute scene with the two of them together, even if it’s not romantic, is something that I will always treasure. I also like the friendship/bromance between Charlie and Gryz and their backstory of meeting at college, so feel free to include any moments with them that you want.
Boston Bruins/Charlie McAvoy
Prompts:
- Okay, so I would totally be into Charlie being one of the team’s only Omegas or subs, and the rest of the team consisting of mostly Alphas and Doms, so they’re very protective of him and got out of their way to make him feel treasured and happy. Getting him little gifts, always making sure someone is cuddling him on the plane or bus rides, fretting over whether he’s getting enough to eat, etc. Also, if you wanted to write something smutty and have Charlie go into heat unexpectedly and need to get gangbanged until he passes out from taking knot after knot, that would get a big thumb’s up from me.
- Also, I would love a scenario where Charlie’s hiding his dynamic as a sub or Omega out of shame or fear that he wouldn’t be accepted, but eventually his health starts to become an issue because of missing too many heats/ignoring his sub urges/whatever, and he dramatically passes out, much to the worry of his team, who then find out the truth about him and still love him and accept him and treat him very tenderly. (Also, this is a great scenario for Gryz or Zee to cuddle him reassuringly, just sayin’.)
- Another idea I had is one where Charlie is dating one of the other younger Bruins (Gryz or Jake or whoever you want), who still needs help learning how to dom Charlie the right way, so some of the Bruins veteran players step in to help him out.
- If you’re not into those tropes but would still like to do something with power dynamics, I’d love to read a fic about Charlie kneeling for veterans players and being shy and being treated tenderly by them. Maybe he feels really self-conscious and like he’s not doing a good enough job, or maybe his non-Gryz teammates at College were really awful to him, and now the vets have to assure him that they’re not going to treat him the same way? You don’t even have to include kneeling if you’re not into, just a fic about Charlie being reassured and comforted by the vets on his team would be wonderful to read.
- Anything, just anything, with Charlie just being loved and treasured by a whole team of boyfriends (Maybe Zee has a policy where rookies can go to whoever on the team they chose to for comfort?) and getting all the cuddles and kisses and sex he needs from them.
- And if you’re into smut, a scenario where Charlie has be gangbanged by the Bruins for his own good would be great, too.
- Also, if you don’t want to write Charlie with the Bruins ensemble and want to use one of the ideas that I’ve suggested to write him with one particular Bruin, that’s fine, too.
Jake DeBrusk/Charlie McAvoy
Prompts:
- I love the dynamic of these two that I see in fic of Jake being loud and liking to party and wearing his heart on his sleeve while Charlie is shyer and more hesitant. I feel like they wouldn’t necessarily read people and each other the same way, which could end up complicating their relationship or chances of getting together, but I think that maybe with some helpful nudging from their teammates, it would work out in the end.
- I don’t really have too many A/B/O or Dom/sub prompts for this pairing, but if you do want to do something with those tropes, go ahead. I do have fun imagining Alpha!Jake going through all kinds of Alpha posturing around Omega!Charlie to impress him, only for Charlie to have settled into the mindset of not getting together with any of teammates even if he wants to because it’s thought of as unprofessional, so Jake has to scramble to convince him otherwise. But if you want to do something else, I’d love to read your take.
- One scenario that keeps popping into my mind is Jake pining desperately after Charlie, who is totally unaware that Jake considers him anything more than a friend. Jake also thinks that Charlie is really into someone else, like a friend from college or even a fellow teammate (when Charlie actually isn’t or maybe just has a small crush), so he begins to assemble increasingly dramatic attempts to prove his love to Charlie, while not actually verbalizing his feelings. Charlie is “???” at Jake’s behavior, while their teammates just sigh and roll their eyes at their behavior. What is it that spurs Jake to finally tell Charlie of his feelings for him?
- Jake and Charlie hanging out all the time, really enjoying being with each other, constantly thinking about each other, and Jake thinking, “Wow, I’m so glad we’re such good friends,” and just loving being around Cheeks. Charlie low-key confesses his feelings, Jake doesn’t really understand and accidentally rejects him, and Charlie is devastated and stops hanging out with him, and Jake is confused as to why and has to fight to get his friend back, and realizes that he’s actually been in love with Charlie the whole time. (Bonus points for including Bruins veterans just shaking their heads and despairing over their poor communication.)
- I’m a sucker for “five times plus one” kinds of fic, so if you wanted something along those lines, please go ahead. Five times Jake and Charlie were mistaken for a couple and one time they actually were? Five times a teammate realized their feelings for each other before the other one did? Feel free to do whatever you want.
- Anything you want to do with these two is fine with me, so if you’ve had a Jake/Charlie plot bunny hopping around in your hand that you’re itching to turn into a fic, please go ahead and write that for. I’m just excited to see what you have in store!
Zdeno Chara/Charlie McAvoy
I am super into Alpha!Zee treating Omega!Charlie like the most precious thing in the world and being super devoted to him and taking pains to let him know that he’s loved and cared for. Would read the same scenario with Dom!Zee and sub!Charlie and Captain!Zee and Rookie!Charlie. (Though I guess Zee would call him a first-year player, since he doesn’t like the term “rookie”.)
In all honesty, I will read any scenario with these two as long it has Zee being good to Charlie. You want to do some Harlequin romance-style arranged marriage where they actually fall in love? You want to write a Beauty and the Beast AU where Zee’s been cursed by a vindictive Sidney Crosby and needs Charlie’s love to set him free? Go ahead. I’m just really into getting scenes of these two snuggling and Zee treating Charlie tenderly and cooking for him.
But I have a few ideas if you’re interested in hearing them.
Prompts:
- Shy!Rookie!Charlie slowly coming into his own and warming up to the team and Zee in particular.
- Zee being relly into Charlie's thicker (thicc), sturdier body and making his appreciation known.
- Maybe a recovery fic after Charlie was treated badly by his college team (please not Matt, though), and regaining his confidence now that he’s with kinder teammates, and Zee being there for him throughout?
- Charlie being utterly spoiled by Zee, who is content on adoring him and showing him how much he's loved.
- Size kink where Zee puts that height to use.
Zdeno Chara/Boston Bruins
Prompts:
- If you’re into writing Dom/sub or A/B/O, I would positively adore a fic with Zee being the ultimate tender and gentle Dom or Alpha who takes the absolute best care of his sub or Omega teammates. Or if you wanted, you could set this fic in a universe where it’s expected that rookies have to give themselves over to their captain for sex, but instead of treating them roughly like they expect, he takes really good care of the rookies and maybe doesn’t even have sex with them at all and just helps them feel good.
- If you have a real hankering to write Zee being with one particular Bruin and would like to use this request as an excuse to write that fic, please feel free to do that. And if you’d prefer to go in a more platonic direction with dad!Zee taking care of the team and helping them with any personal struggles (or maybe helping another couple get together?), I’d love that, too. Just Zee as the wonderful gentle and loving captain that he is.
- I’m really into hurt/comfort scenarios, and I love it when there’s a character who’s emotionally damaged and gets comfort from someone who simply cares for them and wants to treat them well. I think Zee is definitely the latter person. So I’d just like to see someone who’s wounded and hurting and Zee caring for them and making sure they’re okay. If you wanted to include A/B/O or D/s here, with Zee being an Alpha or a Dom who rescues an Omega or sub from a bad situation or an abusive team, I’d love to see that, but I’m also eager to see this situation anywhere, so feel free to use the regular world as well.
Crossovers
Jaromir Jagr/Kent “Parse” Parson
I feel like this pairing has a lot of potential. It doesn’t even have to necessarily be a lasting romantic relationship. I’d be into a friends with benefits situation, or “we fucked once and then became friends” situation, or a temporary fling, or even a bittersweet “the one that got away” situation that has them both interested but never going through with a move for reasons.
One aspect I’m really into for them is the age difference, both in a sexy way, and because I think that even if they were having sex on a casual basis, Jagr would recognize that Kent’s young but has been through a lot in his life.
Prompts:
- Kent meeting Jar through Bob back before the draft and being a starstruck teen fan, and then meeting him again (at the Olympics or lockout?) as a far more scarred and cynical person after Jack’s overdose, and Jagr recognizing the changes and wanting to help him
- Kent being at the 2010 Olympics and scoring the golden goal at Vancouver and celebrating his win with Jagr, who’s willing to look past his own loss in this extenuating circumstances.
- bby!Kent being hit on by some scoundrel and Jagr’s in the vicinity (Olympics? Some other kind of an NHL event that Jagr’s attending for the nostalgia?) and Jagr has to step in and pretend he’s Kent’s boyfriend. Can he help it if things escalate from there?
- Kent ending up on Jagr’s team during the lockout, and Jagr realizing that he wants an ongoing relationship with Kent/learns the full sordid story of Kent and Jack complete with Jack’s ghosting
- Young NHL player Kent meeting Jagr for the first time and not being all that impressed with him because he has so much going on his own life that he just doesn’t have the emotional bandwidth to care all that much. Jagr takes offense but then sets out to prove himself to this hotshot rookie/young player who is actually really hot.
- Jagr and Kent actually being an item and going to a family dinner/the holidays/whatever at Bob and Alicia’s place with Jack and Bitty also in attendance.
- Anything else you want to do here is fine, and feel free to mix and match prompts from this section or other sections.
Kent Parson/Boston Bruins and Kent Parson & Boston Bruins
Okay, so I have two motivations here: the first is that I love the Bruins and would love more positive fic about them, and the second is that I love Kent and would love for his trips into Boston to include something more than just sad arguments with Jack. So what I’m looking for here is fic where after visiting Jack, Kent gets some comfort, or fics where he’s not going to Boston to visit Jack anymore, but to visit his (boy)friends.
Any of the Bruins are fine, and Chara is my absolute favorite, and I also really like Begeron, Marchand, and Rask, but feel free to include any or as many of the other Bruins as you like.
Prompts:
- Werebear fic! You can do anything you want with this one, but I am especially into seeing Kent get cuddled by werebears.
- Kent being the Omega to a pack of Alpha Bruins and them loving him and treating them sweetly.
- Hurt/comfort fic after one of the times Kent goes to Samwell to try to speak with Jack and then goes and gets support and sympathy from the Bruins.
- Fic where Kent goes to Boston, but this time it’s to hang out with his (boy)friends. Bonus if he just so happens to run into Jack and Jack can see that Kent is demonstrably not there for him at all.
- For a more specific prompt, I really like the idea of Kent being a single dad with a young daughter (maybe Jack’s the scumbag absentee other dad who knocked him up and left him?) and the daughter getting a bunch of uncles or stepdads through the Bruins. I feel like Marchand and Chara especially would be especially great for this prompt since they’re so good with kids.
- Size difference kink, since Kent is smaller and slimmer than most hockey players? Doesn’t even really have to be sexual; it can just be them enjoying how easily they can tug him into their laps and hold him there, how big their hands look on his narrow waist, etc.
- Gangbang with Kent after the 2011 Cup win.
- Anything else you want to do is fine here. Christening every room when Kent first buys his mansion in Vegas? Go for it. Fast and the Furious AU? Have my heart. General platonic careaking of Kent? I will love it.
